Professor Jorge Cacheiro's adaptation of Buchner's Woyzeck. This new work transports Buchner's nightmarish story from it's 19th century setting to a timeless United States . Buchner, who wrote the piece during the final year of his life, died at 24 years old. The expressionistic story is of a poor soldier, caught in a soul killing system of authority and his desparate female companion who betrays him.
