Paul Anderson (BFA '87) continues to write occasionally for American Comedy Network and recently completed his memoirs entitled ...but I'm not bitter, published by Simon & Schuster. In January 97 he started The Rude Mechanicals, a multi-media sketch comedy group in New York City . Jane Gabbert (MFA 82) has been living and working in New York City since 1982. Beginning with a professional theatre career on Broadway, Off-Broadway and in many regional theatres across the country, Jane has also been seen on prime time TV, independent features and daytime drama. You may recognize her from over 150 on-camera commercials and/or voice-overs: Febreze, Volkswagen, Tylenol, Cheerios, Weight Watchers, Subway, McDonald's, TDWaterhouse, Prevacid and more. Jane's also been a spokesperson for Showtime, Symantec and other major corporations. MommyChannel.com, an internet talkshow, in a most timely fashion, merged her love of showbiz w/her greatest love of being a Mom! She is currently hosting and producing her radio talk show, ParentWorld, Support Radio For Parents. Jane hopes to be "signed on" with many radio stations by the Fall of 2004. She's also teaching Arts In Action in her son's school. Brian is a professional vocalist and specializes in liturgical music for the Roman Catholic Church. For the past four seasons, he has been the voice of the national anthem for the Cincinnati Cyclones IHL Hockey Team. Ann Randolph (BGS '86) is knocking Los Angeles audiences dead with her one-woman show Loveland according to The Cincinnati Enquirer. This follows an illustrious career as an Alaskan fish-gutter, a comedy writer for the Ohio State Mental Hospital , a theater/playwriting teacher at the University of Alaska at Valdez , a crew member on a boat contracted to clean up the Exxon Valdez oil spill, and a regular in a European spaghetti western TV series.

Walter Speer (BFA '84) after graduation in 1984 received an offer from a touring company to do musicals throughout Europe , first as technical director and later as set designer. This kept him on the road for four years, after which he began freelance set design in Europe with Michael Scott. He later began work for Gian Carlo de Monaco and designed and produced opera with him all over the world. Since 1991 he has been a set designer for the State Opera in Bonn , Germany and continues to work freelance for Scott and del Monaco, the latest production being La Forza del Destino at the Met.

Kathryn Sturch - AB '89: Kathryn has been living in San Diego since 1998. She freelanced as a lighting technician and stagehand at the La Jolla Playhouse, The Old Globe, San Diego Rep, and several concert venues in the area for five years, before accepting a full-time job as the Assistant Lighting Supervisor for LJP/UCSD. She continues to work occasional concerts and is the FOH camera operator for the IMAG at Coors Amphitheater.

Mark Viergutz (BFA 84) did one semester toward his MFA in Kansas City with Peter Sander after leaving OU. Mark then moved to L.A. where he stage managed equity waiver shows for five years, working at the Ensemble Studio Theatre and others. In 1990 he produced Water Wings at the Richard Shepard Theatre. He is married with two children, ages 7 and 3. He currently lives in Creede , CO , where he has owned and operated the Snowshoe Motel and The Snowshoe Mini-Mart/Video Store. While in Creede, he served on the Board of Trustees for The Creede Repertory Theatre (CRT) as Vice-President, President and Chairman of the Finance Committee, responsible for the budget. In 1994, he directed and acted in I'm Herbert for CRT. He plans to relocate to a larger community, having sold his business, and look for a theatre or other arts related administration job.

Ray Wells (BFA '82) After graduating from OU, Ray moved to LA w/ fellow classmates Bob Dombrowski and Tob Garrison and John Gamber. After years of small roles on several Soaps and TV movies, along with Equity Waiver Theatre roles, Ray turned his skills towards sales in rel estate with Dilbeck Realtors, GMAC in Pasadena , Ca. This has lead to industry speaking presentations on the State and National level. Recently Tay has been back on stage several times with Stand-up performances localy and on stage at the renowned Pasadena Playhouse in a benefit performance (with a solo song, I still can't sing!) I'd love to hear from friends. Tay lives in the Pasadena , Ca. area with wife Debby, daughter Page and son John due in April 2001.
