Rosary O'Brien (now O'Neill),(MFA 1968) was founding artistic director of Southern Rep in New Orleans and NYC playwright, has recently had 14 of her plays printed for purchase/rentals by Samuel French, Inc. Samuel French previously licensed her play anthologies, A Louisiana Gentleman and Other New Orleans Comedies and Ghosts of New Orleans. A full staged production of her play Blackjack, The Thief of Possession was recently mounted by the City Park Players as part of the 61st season of the Central Louisiana Community Theatre. Lately she has received an HB Foundation Playwrights Scholarship and was a fellow at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA). (11/09)

John S. McClenahan (BFA '66) is now semi-retired and doing volunteer work as "Doctor Magic." He regularly visits Sunrise Children's Hospital and the University Medical Center in Las Vegas where he performs magic, makes balloon faces, and entertains the children's and oncology wards. In addition, Doctor Magic keeps a busy schedule performing for many civic groups, adult care facilities and charity organizations in the Las Vegas area. (10/98) .

Kathryn E. (Dengler) Mihelick (BA '54) is a member of the Sacred Dance Guild, performing in churches during worship services and in concerts. She joined the Kent State University faculty in '76 and served as coordinator of the dance department from '83 to '88. Since then she has devoted herself as artistic director to Leaven, a dance company in residence at KSU's Newman Center . (5/98)
Vera Shapiro Hyman (BFA 45) is an AKC dog judge and has traveled to Canada, Mexico, Taiwan, Spain (3 times), Jamaica, Brazil, Italy and Japan. She judges all over the United States as well. In April 96, she celebrated her 52nd wedding anniversary and on September 9, 98 , her 75th birthday. (11/98)
