College Of Fine Arts Announces The 2006-07 Faculty Creative Research Award Finalists

The College of Fine Arts created the annual competitive process to promote, stimulate, and encourage creative research in the arts. “Research” is broadly defined and includes, but is not limited to:

  • creation of new art works
  • the interpretation, analysis, history and criticism of the arts
  • pedagogical studies with art participants
  • the development of new art forms or new performances and exhibitions

Proposals are reviewed by the College of Fine Arts Graduate and Research Committee and are evaluated on the basis of merit and importance to the field.

For 2006 and 2007, the Faculty Creative Research Awards are funded by the College of Fine Arts with matching support from the Office of the Provost as part of Vision Ohio.
