A significant work by Bach
A composition from the Romantic or Contemporary era
In some cases, a student may be accepted as an organ major or principal who has previously studied only the piano. See piano requirements for appropriate audition repertoire. Music minors, students with organ as secondary instrument, or non-music majors may audition with organ repertoire of their choice or be able to demonstrate the ability to play intermediate keyboard repertoire (e.g. Bach: Inventions).
