Brenda began working in the School of Interdisciplinary Arts in March, 1995. She graduated Cum Laude from Ohio University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with majors in Finance and Management. She attained the Certified Administrative Professional's rating in May, 2001 and the Certified Professional Secretary's rating in May, 1999. Brenda was selected as one of the 2001 Outstanding Classified Employees at Ohio University and was selected as the March, 2002 Employee of the Month. She has served on several University committees and was a member of Classified Senate for 8 years from 2000-2008 with one year serving as Treasurer.

In her position in Interdisciplinary Arts, she serves as the office manager overseeing all of the day-to-day operations of the department.

Brenda lives in Albany with her husband Brian and two sons, Patrick and Trent.
