D Jones B.A.C. Theatre & M.A. Theatre |
Derrick (aka D Jones) was born and raised in Youngstown, OH and is a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a BAC and MA in Theatre and a member of Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity, Incorporated. His experiences in the arts are quite diverse having worked in theater, film and hip hop music for many years as well as publishing four books of poetry. With a focus on documentary filmmaking, he has used his recent short films NIKITA JONES (2007) and 631 (2008) to gather support for his thesis film THE SHADOW OF LUCASVILLE due in 2009.
