The Peterson Sound Studio is a rerecording studio for professional film, video and music production. This studio was donated by Thomas F. Peterson Jr. and has produced sound for many professional films.
Our studio affords students full support from set to post production. Students are allowed to mix their own projects in the studio which is unique to OUSOF.

The Sound booth was used to replace dialogue for the wedding scene for the "Deer Hunter" and many more feature films plus mixes for NGS and Mr. Rogers neighborhood.
Richard Meyers filmmaker did his mixes in the peterson studio in Athens and when it was in Cleveland and many others. Pro-tools are on all of our editing system to allow pre-mixes and track building before mixing in the studio. The studio has provision to make audio transfers form Optical film, tape, video tape, and the old long playing disc.. |
