The following materials must be submitted to the School of Art office in a single package. Applications must be postmarked: February 1

Supplementary Materials Required by School of Art:

• Portfolio with 20 images (PowerPoint presentation in CD ROM or Color Slides)
• Printed description list that corresponds to the images in the portfolio
  (include title, dimensions, technique, and year of execution for each image)
• Resume/CV
• Artist Statement
• Letter of Intent (why are you interested in graduate school, why Ohio University, what are your future goals, what are your current strengths, what do you hope to build on, etc.)
• 3 Letters of Recommendation (these can also be submitted electronically)
• Sample of writing for MA in Art History

Tuition Waivers and Teaching Assistantship stipends are available through the

School of Art and will be discussed upon acceptance into the program. This funding is assessed annually and is subject to annual budget restrictions.
