Stacy Asher
Graphic Design assistant professor Stacy Asher is the founder of the Pink Dot experiment.
"How does the meaning of something change when you paint it pink? The Pink Dot Experiment seeks to call attention to the way in which we take our external urban environment for granted. The project involves audience participation, enabling the public to engage in acts of urban mapping and reflect on their own experience in public space. It is intended to address the relationship between aesthetics and social processes and promote the collaborative process of interdisciplinary creativity".
