Karla Hackenmiller comes to Ohio University School of Art from Kearney, Nebraska. She is an Associate Professor in Printmaking. Karla most recently served as Assistant Professor in printmaking at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. For five years, Karla was the Assistant Director of Frogman's Press and Gallery. Her dedication to the field is demonstrated through regular exhibitions of her artwork, participation in national exchange portfolios and annual attendance at conferences. Karla is also an elected officer of the Mid America Print Council. Karla holds a BFA in Printmaking from the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, Iowa, and an MFA in Printmaking from the University of South Dakota, Vermillion, South Dakota.
