Stacy Asher comes to Ohio University School of Art from Dayton, Ohio. She is an Assistant Professor of Graphic Design. Stacy most recently worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Dayton. She also served as Department Coordinator for Metropolitan State College of Denver where she designed and implemented curriculum in Communication Design, including Typography, Identity/Logo/Packaging, as well as Advanced Publication Design. Some of the skills that Stacy brings with her include: design theory, communication theory, typography, graphic form, layout, and systems design. Stacy holds a BA in Integrated Studies from University of Nebraska, and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Biomedical Communications from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and Graduate Course Work in Printmaking and Digital Imaging, from the University of Colorado/Boulder, and an MFA in Design from the California College of Arts and Crafts.
